Romorgniz is recalling about 10,040 12-drawer fabric dressers sold on Amazon after federal safety regulators found the unanchored units unstable and out of compliance with the mandatory standard for clothing storage furniture.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced recall 26-634 on July 23. It covers Romorgniz dressers in white, brown and black with 12 fabric drawers, a metal frame and dimensions of about 11.8 inches wide, 31.7 inches tall and 55 inches long.
Date is the key identification rule. Only orders placed before April 1, 2026, are included. CPSC says the units were sold on Amazon from May 2025 through March 2026 for about $90.
The hazard arises when the dresser is not anchored to a wall. CPSC says the product can tip over and trap someone, creating a risk of serious injury or death to children, and that it violates the mandatory standard required by the STURDY Act.
Consumers with an affected unanchored dresser should stop using it immediately and move it to an area children cannot access. CPSC directs buyers to contact Romorgniz for instructions on identifying and disposing of the unit.
The company’s remedy is a full refund. Consumers will be asked to submit a photograph demonstrating disposal, so discarding the dresser before receiving the company’s instructions could complicate the process.
CPSC reported no incidents or injuries linked to this recall as of the announcement. That does not change the stop-use instruction because compliance testing and product instability, rather than a reported injury count, triggered the action.
The manufacturer is Changzhou Jiaxuan Intelligence Furniture Co. Ltd. and the importer is Baituo Innovation Technology Co. Ltd., doing business as Romorgniz, both of China. The recall page provides the company’s dedicated email and website contact.
Buyers should match the product description and order date rather than relying on a photo alone. Similar fabric dressers or Romorgniz models from a different sales period may fall under other notices, while recall 26-634 has its own 10,040-unit scope and refund process.
